Hello, I'm Tom
I'm a graphic designer and motion graphics animator based in Bristol, UK.
I also make children's books, games and short films.
I love collaborating on exciting projects, helping to spread a little joy, and getting that fire in the belly for new ideas. Below is my animation and motion graphics showreel, and a selection of projects I'm working on.
Animation & Motion Showreel 2025.

There's a Ghost in my Toaster
Word count: 453
Age group: 3-5
A fun picture book for kids with a silly sense of humour, in collaboration with illustrator (and frequent collaborator) Charlie Swan Pullin. A simple story about finding ghosts in a toaster each morning. The book will be accompanied by a short animation featuring all of the different types of ghosts.

Dino's Pizza Delivery Service
Word count: 193
Age group: 3-5
A second collaboration with illustrator Charlie Swan Pullin. It’s a very silly story about dinosaurs making great pizzas, and chicken making terrible pizzas. To accompany the book, we are planning a recipe card game for kids, including various different pizza topping ideas.

Alpacas are Terrible at Hiding
Word count: 391
Age group: 3-5
A rhyming picture book about a huge game of hide and seek. Kids will enjoy spotting all of the animals, and wondering where the alpaca will turn up next. I am also designing a hide and seek memory card game to compliment the book.

Ham, Ed & Chips
Word count: 10,844
Age group: 6-9
A fun and farcical story about an unusual group of friends who accidentally cause havoc in the little village of Ham Green. I liked the three central characters so much, I decided to use them for an activity book series. The series will cover subjects including astronomy, maths and travel... subjects I find very interesting.

Bobby Scribbles
Goes to the Shops
Word count: TBC
Age group: 6-9
A farcical adventure in the same vein as Alice in Wonderland or The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The story follows Bobby as he tries to complete his food shopping, but gets dragged into a reluctant adventure. It is surreal, fun and absolutely bonkers, which are all things I love, so I'm hoping to turn it into a series.
